·          Your job offer must contain duties of a caregiver for care of child/ren, elderly or disabled person

 

·          You may be asked to declare that you can provide the wages, benefits and working conditions required by the Ontario labour laws. The offered wage must be comparable to Canadian live-in caregivers based on labour market information

 

·          Advertisement(s) must be attempted to find a qualified caregiver in Canada before applying for a live-in we will help with this

 

·          You must offer full time employment

 

·          You and your prospective employee are legally required to have a signed contract. The responsibilities of the caregiver should be set out in the contract to ensure that the employee is aware of the conditions of employment you are offering, it must cover wages, deductions for accommodation , vacation time and pay along with job responsibilities

 

·          You must also provide accommodation that ensures privacy, such as a private room with a lock on the door. Your caregiver is entitled to privacy and will be paying rent for a room in your house
